Larry Augustin is an angel investor and advisor to early stage technology companies.   He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Compiere, Fonality, Hyperic, Medsphere, Pentaho, SugarCRM, and XenSource.   One of the group who coined the term "Open Source", he has written and spoken extensively on Open Source worldwide.   Worth Magazine named him to their list of the Top 50 CEOs in 2000.   From 2002 to 2004 he was a Venture Partner at Azure Capital Partners.   In 1993 he founded VA Linux (now SourceForge, NASDAQ:LNUX), where he served as CEO until August 2002. Philippe has 17 years of experience in private equity in Europe and the U.S., with 12 years specifically focused on early stage investing with Partech Ventures. Prior to joining Partech, Philippe was a Partner with Sofinnova in Paris. He has been a Director of Egide and BVRP (both listed on the French market) and Adknowledge (acq. by CMGI). In addition, he was involved with Flamel Technologies (FLML) and Rightpoint Software (acq. by E.piphany). Philippe currently sits on the board of directors of Jaspersoft, Spoke Software and VUE Technology and board advisor to Bocada and InQuira. He attended the Engineering School of Mines in Nancy, France and received an MS from Stanford University where he was named a Sloan Fellow.


Tim Golden

Tim Golden has over 20 years consulting and management experience gained while designing and implementing major IT infrastructure projects both as a consultant working for IBM and currently as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America. Tim's technical background is extremely diverse and includes: IT management; software development; solution architecture design and engineering; management consulting; and data center operations.

In his current role as Senior Vice President, Bank of America, UNIX Engineering, Security and Provisioning, Open Source Management Tim manages the UNIX Engineering, Security, and Provisioning Team. His team's responsibilities include: Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AIX, and HP UX Platform Engineering; Midrange Security Engineering; Midrange Provisioning & Automation Engineering; Free & Open Source (FOSS) Management and Compliance.

Prior to managing the UNIX Engineering, Security, and Provisioning Team, Tim developed Bank of America's Free & Open Source Software (FOSS) risk management and compliance program. Working exclusively with Linux and open source software technology, Tim led several enterprise efforts including the development of open source software stack architectures, the creation of an in-house open source software management and reuse portal, and enterprise adoption of over 150 open source development tools, infrastructure applications, frameworks, automation utilities, and business software applications.


Anthony Hill

Anthony Hill has a 25 year diversified background in the information technology industry with experience in all facets of information technology as a CIO, CTO, commercial software developer, consultant, product manager and business development across multiple industries.

Anthony is currently the CIO for Golden Gate University and has made extensive use of open source products in its enterprise architecture. Anthony serves on the open source editorial advisory board for Tech Target Media and has testified at the California State Senate on the use of open source software in electronic voting systems.

Anthony has been acknowledged by his peers many times in the IT industry as a leading CIO/CTO and he recently co-authored "CIO Best Practices: Achieving Strategic Value with Information Technology", published in 2007 by Wiley & Sons.
