Andrew Aitken is the Founder and Managing Partner of Olliance Group, the leading open source management consultancy. He is a recognized expert on strategies for the commercialization of open source and has been a leader in the open source community for nearly 10 years. Andrew has more than 20 years senior management experience in building and leading national professional services firms, including Renaissance Worldwide and eWork.
In 2001 Mr. Aitken founded Olliance Group with other industry veterans to provide management and business strategy consulting to companies leveraging open source. In January 2006, Mr. Aitken spearheaded the software industry’s first "think tank" on the future of commercial open source, now an annual event regularly attended by the industry’s leading CEO’s and visionaries. Andrew has chaired and spoken internationally at multiple industry and government conferences on the topic of open source. Mr. Aitken has also participated as an expert witness on the issues of open source and e-voting to the California Senate. Andrew is on the Board of Directors of the Open Source Software Institute and the SDForum and is Chair of their annual Open Source Conference. Andrew is on the Board of Advisors of leading open source companies including SugarCRM, Funambol, Cleversafe, and Krugle. Mr. Aitken has personally advised firms such as IBM, Intel, Nokia, Microsoft, and dozens of VCs and startups on their open source strategies.

Greg joined the Olliance Group as Senior Business Development Executive in 2005 and was promoted to Senior Partner in 2008. Greg has over 25 years of software industry experience in engineering, marketing, sales and business development. He was most recently Chairmanand EVP of Business development with Sendmail, Inc, and continues to serve on their Board of Directors. As founder and chief executive of Sendmail, Greg created one of the first hybrid business models incorporating open source with market positioning and licensing models that have become standards for open source business, raised over $60 million of investment capital to realize this new model as a high-growth technology business, and built the company to a recognized leading vendor in Internet email with strong presence in North America, Europe and Japan.
Prior to Sendmail, Greg served as vice president of marketing for Integrated Systems, Inc., the largest provider of software and services to the embedded computer systems industry. Before Integrated Systems, Greg was VP of Strategy at Sybase, where he developed the company's Internet strategy in 1995 with founder Bob Epstein and managed a wide range of product and business initiatives. During his six years at Sybase, the company’s revenue grew from $80 million to over $1 billion. Greg joined Sybase from Britton Lee, Inc., where he held a wide range of executive positions including Chief Technical Officer, Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Customer Services and Director of Software Development. Greg holds a BS degree in Information Sciences from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Mike has completed more than 50 open source strategy engagements, ranging from IBM to open source organizations such as the Free Software Group (now the Linux Foundation). Mike brings a strong combination of executive management experience and open source expertise to any engagement.
For the last 7 years at Olliance, Mike has helped major technology companies design, implement and deploy Linux support programs for independent software vendors (ISVs). Mr. Pope has special expertise in creating and implementing business development partner and alliance programs around particular products or technology. Mike specializes in synthesizing emerging technologies, customer needs, marketplace / competitor trends, and business imperatives to create corporate and product vision and roadmaps while establishing key technology partnerships and large corporate level business agreements with a strong sense of win-win negotiation strategy and tactics.
Prior to Olliance, Mike held executive positions at Intel Corporation and Daisy Systems Corporation. Past executive management positions at Intel included strategic planning, business development, implementation of Intel’s server independent software vendor (ISV) programs. Responsibilities included directing the definition, business development, and implementation of software enabling programs prior to and after key processor launches. Additional responsibilities included serving as the key executive contact for with the major software companies and conducting business due diligence for venture capital investments.
Mike also has extensive executive management responsibility in product and technology development. He managed core OS and compiler engineering development at Intel. At Daisy Systems Corporation, he was a corporate officer, responsible for defining and managing a standalone software business unit, and served as one of 3 corporate technical officers, responsible for core system level development and marketing direction.
Mike earned both an undergraduate and master's degrees in engineering from Cornell University.

Bill Weinberg brings two decades of open source, embedded and open systems, telecommunications, and other technology experience to his role as Principal Analyst and Consultant at Linuxpundit.com. He also serves as advisor and mobile chair at several conferences, including the Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit and IDG Open Source World.
Bill’s career has included work with key industry standards consortia, serving as General Manager of the Linux Phone Standards Forum (LiPS), and as Senior Analyst and Initiative Manager at Open Source Development Labs (OSDL), where he ran OSDL Mobile Linux and Carrier Grade programs. Prior to OSDL, Bill was a founding team-member at MontaVista Software, helping to pioneer and establish Linux as the leading platform for intelligent devices. In his extensive and varied career, Bill also worked at Lynx Real-Time Systems, Acer Computer Brazil, and Microtec Research.
Bill is well known for his writing and speaking on topics ranging from global adoption of Linux to embedded/real-time computing, from application migration to licensing and standardization, and from telecom infrastructure to mobile applications. Bill is a prolific contributor to print and on-line journals including LinuxUser, Search Enterprise Linux and RTC Magazine, and is a frequent speaker and panelist at events like LinuxWorld, Informa Open Source in Mobile and RTECC.

Thomas Henn brings 30 years of experience successfully building companies implementing strategies and operational efficiencies. He is responsible for driving operational growth and strategic direction for Olliance, drawing upon years of experience turning early-stage companies into market leaders. His role as Senior Director, Strategic Planning and Operations will be instrumental as Olliance Group expands their business.
Previously, as the driver of CenterBoard's strategic vision, Tom was responsible for turning early-stage companies into market leaders, relying on his diversified background that includes technology development, sales, marketing, and customer support . At Centerpoint he raised successful rounds of funding and built strategic relationships including ones with SAP and Cisco.
Prior to CenterBoard, Henn was president and CEO of Cloudscape, which developed a groundbreaking database and synchronization tool that enabled the deployment of portable lightweight JAVA applications. At Cloudscape, he raised funding, set company direction, and orchestrated a merger with Informix. At data warehouse pioneer Red Brick Systems, he was responsible for sales, sales support, channels, field marketing, professional services, and training; ultimately delivering 10 consecutive quarters of profitability and an IPO.
Henn was also an executive-in-residence at Crosspoint Venture Partners and held executive management positions with Knowledgeware Inc., Digital Equipment Corp., and Burroughs Corp.Henn has a B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University.

Miriam Tuerk brings 20 years of combined SaaS and open source experience to Olliance. Miriam served as the Infobright's first CEO from 2006 to 2009. Miriam led Infobright from its inception through its successful transition to an open source company through growth of its community and customer base.
She is currently a strategic advisor to Infobright and also serves on the board of directors of Enomaly, a leader in the fast-growing cloud computing space. Prior to joining Infobright, Miriam spent 11 years in the SaaS industry building e-billing, e-procurement, and payments services for the North American market.
Miriam's 20 years of experience includes work in both the consulting and telecommunications sectors covering Canadian as well as the U.S., European, and Asian markets.
Miriam holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Waterloo.
